Flagship course
First-Session Activation Lab
Six weeks for a product and analytics pair who need a shared map of what happens between install and first durable value. You leave with artefacts, not a certificate wall.
What you leave with
- A named event dictionary covering first session only — not a company-wide taxonomy rewrite
- A funnel map both PM and data lead sign, including the value moment in one sentence
- Three experiment cards with hypothesis, primary metric, and a kill date
- A friction / confusion / distrust tag on every major drop-off
- Six months at the graduate table
Modules
-
01
Value moment before metrics
You write the first durable value in your category and defend it in critique. “Onboarding complete” is not allowed as the success event.
-
02
Event names that age
Rules for naming taps, screens, and system prompts so a new hire in month nine can still read the funnel. Includes a mixed iOS/Android naming exercise.
-
03
Drop-off as a story
Turn a chart into a narrative: where people leave, why the tag is friction versus confusion versus distrust, and what evidence you still lack.
-
04
Consent and permission timing
Place PDPA notices and OS prompts after a reason to trust you. Cross-over with Permission Timing Studio; this module is shorter and first-session only.
-
05
Experiment cards that fit a Thai sprint
One hypothesis, one metric, one kill date. Sized for App Store review and internal legal. No twelve-variant theatre.
-
06
Readout and kill criteria
You present to the cohort as if it were an internal leadership meeting. Peers try to break the metric choice. You revise the kill sheet.
Instructor
Waranya Chaiwat
Waranya led activation analytics at a Bangkok payments company before joining the desk in 2021. She still instruments two independent apps and teaches the value-moment and experiment-card weeks. Office hours are in English; she will switch to Thai for consent-copy critique if the pair prefers.
Informational fee
฿42,900 per seat. Two people from the same organisation may share one seat if they submit homework as a pair. There is no payment form on this site. Invoices, VAT, and seating happen after a desk call. See all fees and the refund policy.
Reviews from this lab
Week two made us draw the welcome carousel as a single event chain. We had been firing “onboarding complete” on screen four while half the cohort never reached screen two.
Nattaporn K., growth lead · fintech, Bangkok
The lab is demanding on homework volume. I wanted more time on Android event quirks. Still, our first requested ride finally matched what replay showed, which had never been true.

FAQ
Who should sit the pair of seats?
One person who owns the onboarding UI or copy, and one person who owns the funnel in your analytics tool. A solo PM can enrol; they will work harder on the taxonomy homework.
What tools do you assume?
Any funnel that can show a first-session path: Mixpanel, Amplitude, Firebase, or a warehouse plus a notebook. We do not require a specific vendor. If you only have store consoles, wait until replay or a funnel exists.
What does this lab not cover?
Paid user-acquisition creative, App Store or Play listing experiments, web-to-app banners, and deep CRM lifecycle after week one. If your leak is mostly before install, this is the wrong programme — say so on the contact form and we will not push the lab.
Is the fee refundable?
Yes within the window and conditions on the refund page. Cohort seats after week two are treated differently from a Single Flow Review.
